Stittsville author seeks Liberal nomination in Carleton-Mississippi Mills
Posted Feb 8, 2010 By Sarah KelfordStittsville author Bernard Muzeen announced on Thursday, Feb. 4 his intention to seek the Liberal nomination for the next federal general election in the riding of Carleton-Mississippi Mills.
“In light of a Prime Minister who has gone rouge: abused the supremacy of Parliament, sidelined the elected representatives for 60 per cent of voters with a telephone call, has twice broken ‘the election date law’ his own political party enacted, shut down the Colvin Report inquiry, who now exhibits dictatorial inclinations and anti-democratic tendencies, all serve as a clarion call for Canadians to step forward and protect their democracy,” stated Muzeen in his press release.
Muzeen continued to state that he is ready, and willing, to come out of active retirement and stand up for Canada.
